2010 GRANT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM
APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY E-MAIL (word file) AND BY MAIL. NO FAXED SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED OR REVIEWED. See mailing instructions below.
Use English only and avoid jargon and unusual abbreviations.
Submission Deadline Applications to AFI are accepted once a year; the deadline is April 12, 2010.
Typing and Copying Instructions Draw or print out all graphs, diagrams, tables, and charts in black ink.
The application must be EASILY READABLE. Use standard size black type that can be photocopied, single spaced with sufficient space between lines of type to be easily legible. The typeface (font) must be no smaller than 11 point and must be either proportionally spaced. (This is a sample of 11 point, proportionally spaced type.) Leave at least 17 mm margins on all sides. Do not use photo-reduction.
Submit ONE ORIGINAL + THREE (3) COPIES and a WORD-FILE VERSION PER E-MAIL of THE ENTIRE GRANT APPLICATION
The copies of the application must include original prints of photographs.
Submit one copy of the Summary of the Project in Non-Technical Terminology and the Key Words list, attached to the original application and e-mail version only. This non-technical description is not subject to scientific review.
German-French border-crossing projects need only one set of application forms to be sent to AFI including a supplement of the French partner.
Mailing Instructions Do not staple the original or the copies. Do not place the copies in folders or report covers. Mail or deliver the completed and signed original of the application and 3 exact, clear photocopies; in one package to
