European Alzheimer Academy Workshop 2024
The first edition of the EAAW was a great success!
The workshop took place in Bertinoro, Italy, from 17th to 21st March 2024 . 40 young dementia researchers – PhD students and young postdocs – came together in Bertinoro, Italy.
The aim was to learn how to write a successful grant application and develop professionally to find a niche in research.
The small number of participants created a pleasant atmosphere in which participants could share their experiences and knowledge with experienced scientists and make contacts for future collaborations.
Presentations on topics such as diagnosis, clinical symptoms, pathogenesis and risk factors gave participants a deeper understanding of current issues in Alzheimer's research.
